What is Drain Re-lining?

Drain relining is a reliable, low cost repair process that has been in use for many years. Initially it was developed to renovate large diameter main sewers. It is now an extremely popular method of repairing smaller diameter domestic drains in the UK.

Innovations in Drain Relining and Patch Lining

Generally the technology used for drain relining means that we now use no-dig technology, resulting in less disruption and less mess. The process is reliable and very cost effective compared to digging out an old drain and installing a new pipe. Relining also extends the life of the drain by tens of years and it can be used on small bore pipes from just 100mm diameter to sewer pipes of 1.5m diameter.

Patch lining uses the same process as drain relining, but Is generally used to repair isolated sections of pipe where damage is limited to perhaps just a small section - again a much lower cost repair than digging out a section to replace it. Patch lining can be used in ppipes from 60mm to 1.2m diameter.
